The "New" Diamond Sports Complex is owed by the Bourbonnais Park District and is located at 6279 N. 1000 West Road in Bourbonnais Illinois. The Park District purchased it from the former owners and have committed over a half million dollars in renovation for the facility. The 3 year architectural plans will be in a display case at the new complex as you enter it.

The playing surfaces of all 6 fields have been completely renovated and look brand new. The work was done by Sportsfields owned by Jim Walsh. A brand new concession stand and restrooms will be built in modular fashion and moved into the complex in March to be hooked up prior to our April opener. Additional improvements to the facility will include the development of DIAMOND POINT PARK surrounding the complex. The park will have volleyball courts, basketball court, splash pond for the kids to enjoy, pavillion and gazebos to allow the families plenty of entertainment for the players between games.

Handicap walkways to the facilities will be added with additional concrete poured between the diamonds to cut down on the amount of dust in the area. The Park District has already upgraded the present sprinkling system which will aid in the overall shape of the diamonds as the year and summer progresses.

Improvements to the baseball facilities will also include additional bench seating in the dugout areas, fences put in front of each dugout to protect the players from foul balls and overthrows, IMPROVEMENT of the varsity dugouts,spectator seating closer to the playing facilities,practice infields for the teams to practice on prior to the contests beginning and BATTING CAGES.
